To My Twins
To My Twins, My Dearest Maddison and MacKenzie,
This end in POA's seems to be bittersweet
for all. Your experiences are invaluable, memories unforgettable,
and friends everlasting. However, a new chapter has begun
for both of you. A chapter filled with these same things.
Your journey through college and into adulthood will
be the best years of your life. You have both gained
a passion for horses that will be everlasting and now
you will both be able to become passionate about other
things in life.
You have become inspiring young women with
characteristics to match. I remember the exact day, minute,
hour; even second you both came into the world. It was
one of the happiest days of my life. It seems like just
yesterday. There has always been a unique bond between
you girls and I am happy and proud that that bond remains.
You bring such different but complementary characteristics
to the table. In your own individual ways, you have both
accomplished so many things at the tender age of 19.
I cannot wait to see what you girls will do in the future.
There have been so many qualities that
showing horses have taught you. You have show gratefulness
for this one-of-a-kind experience. You have gained a
love and passion for animals. By taking care of your
horses, you have both gained thoughtfulness and you always
put their needs first. These brilliant animals have taught
you how to respect and treasure the things you have in
life. Lastly, together and apart, you are strong, independent
individuals with a great sense of pride of your accomplishments
that is well deserved. I hope you keep your honestly,
sincerity, and pure hearts for the rest of your lives.
You have kept me young at heart.
Beyond your horses, I have to thank your
friends for given you competition that kept you on your
toes and teaching you the true meaning of winning humbly.
I have to thank the many families we have had the great
pleasure of meeting. Finally, I have to express my gratitude
for all of the twin's family members and there undying
support for my daughters. Life would not be the same
without their love and support. And how could I forget,
your trainers. Thank you all for your hard work, many
hours, days, even years of sacrifice. You have taught
my twins how to truly succeed at something they are passionate
about.
You are such amazing,
beautiful young ladies with hearts of gold. So many times
you have both made my heart soar. I could not imagine
my life without you.
With all
the love in my heart, I am so glad you are both mine.
Love, Mom
P.S. Happy POA Graduation! KICK SOME BUTT!
